We have now all been put in our groups due to the pathway we have chosen, I have been matched with: Alex Burton, Ian Conolly, Kate Taylor, Lisa Greenaway, Melissa, Kat, Fraiser, Matt Olrenshaw, Ben Bayliss, Rihard Alder. Are assignment is to make taster programmes leading up to the final children in need show, these taster will include breif VT inserts of work/content we plan to include on the final day so that the audiene can be kept up to date with how we are moving on with the final show. Are lessons started with editing lessons from Graham Cooper, this was relativley easy for me since i'd already used final cut pro plenty of times before so this was more of a re cap for me. we re capped also on research methods, Qualitative is about personal opinion and accuracy and Quantitative data is about how many people you give questionnaires to thus gathering your research into groups and numbers. We have now also been given our assignment briefs which are different according to which pathway we have taken. My job role throughout the taster programmes is the vision mixer, i feel comfortable taking on this job since out of everyone in our group i probably have the most expierience on the vm desk plus this is a job i enjoy. The whole group started preparing ideas for content in this first week, we have also started discussing how long each taster episode will be and sort of a set schedule for the programme.
